The Petra Wilderness Institute flows out of Petra International Ministries and is focused on training up the next generation of Kingdom workers who do not follow the status quo, but who live radically devoted lives to Christ and the Great Commission.

The Petra Wilderness Institute provides various opportunities throughout the year, including backcountry backpacking trips, hunting trips, snowshoeing, skiing, along with other outdoor adventures providing opportunities for both physical and spiritual training that are beneficial now and in the years ahead.

The vision is to take 150 youth and young adults into the backcountry by 2025.
