PLANTAR School of Ministry

The School of Ministry PLANTAR is a ministry part of PIM, Inc. based on Managua, the Capitol of Nicaragua. It is to train pastors of current and new church plants. The courses are on-site of a week in length. Pastors will be trained in specific areas of Bible, theology, spiritual formation, and ministry. The program consist of lectures, reading, writing, one on one discipleship, question and answer, ministry cases studies etc. Assignments are given before and after the intensive week of class is scheduled.

Our goal is to work with professors/instructors from the U.S. to teach the current and new pastors. The classes not assigned to U.S. instructors/pastors will be taught by Pastor Jared Cox.

In 2018 we would like to equip the students with an e-reader, e-books as part of their curriculum, support those who are not able to pay the transportation costs to the capitol, and curriculum development and classes.

Need:

  • Students Library – $3,100.00
    1. Kindle for students, ebooks and books
  • Curriculum Development Classes – $8,500.00
    1. Travels for teaching, Teaching Expenses related (student notes)
  • Student Scholarship – $500.00
